Methodist Men Drop Potatoes! (Oct 11th & Nov 22nd)

This exciting district-level United Methodist Men's project helps to feed the hungry in the Great Plains Conference. There are thousands of families throughout the conference that, despite having a household member with a regular income, will go to bed hungry. This does not have to happen in our conference!

United Methodist Men and family members unite and help unload large truckloads of potatoes and load them into personal pickup trucks. The potatoes are then distributed to local hunger relief ministries and to anyone else who wants to help supply a meal to a family in need.

When & Where: This year there are two selected times for the Potato Drops: Saturday, Oct 11th, 2014, from 9am to 12pm at Mission Memorial UMC, 3333 Wood Ave., Kansas City, KS. The second drop will be Saturday, Nov 22nd, 2014, at Bonner Springs UMC, 425 W. Morse, Bonner Springs, KS.

Cost: Free!
