Did You Know that Christmas is in October? (Oct 11th)

This just in...Christmas is coming to Kansas City in October! The Mission and Outreach Team is once again coming together with a team from Church of the Resurrection (COR) in Leawood for Christmas in October. We will be working under the leadership of Max and Diane Sherman as our team captains. They have done wonderful work in leading and directing us in past Christmas in October projects. We will have lunch together on site. This year we will be working to help improve the functionality of a home of a disabled, retired Veteran in Kansas City, KS. We need your "Helping Hands!"

Christmas in October provides a unique opportunity for "Outreach" into the community as well as joining friends and family in a meaningful way.

No experience is necessary - just your desire to be a part of the experience! Remember, your love shines for others when you serve!

When: Saturday, October 11th, 2014, from 8am to 4pm.

Where: On-site at a Veteran's home in Kansas City, KS. Car-pool by meeting at the MUM Church parking lot at 7:15am.

Cost: Free! Just show up!
