 The Mission Team is seeking those "Power-Shopping" Elves to help purchase gifts for the children we are sponsoring for Christmas. Elves, meet at MUMC at 6:00pm, and we will "hook up the reindeer" (interpretation: "carpool with the cars"), find a place to grab a bite to eat first, and then away we will go to do our shopping! At each store we go to, you will have an individual list, so check it twice, and then shop 'till you drop! Meet at the check-out center with your selections where Janet Williams, Coordinator of Missions Ministries, will take care of paying for all items with the church credit card which will contain the donations people have given for this intended purpose. When we are finished shopping and have returned to the church, you can either give a nod and disappear up the chimney, or just head for your own home to rest up. Keep in mind, the more Elves we have to do the shopping, the quicker we will get the sleigh loaded with gifts and ready for delivery to the children. The Mission Team wishes you a "Merry Christmas to All, and to All a Good Night!" (of shopping!) A week later, after we recover, we'll return to wrap the presents. You can participate in one of the two dates, or both. It is up to you!!
