Come BE THE CHANGE by providing skilled or un-skilled labor to help build a home for a family in need in Olathe.  Together, we'll partner with Habitat for Humanity and the Olathe District Schools Career and Technical Programs to help create housing for families in need.  We are looking for unskilled labor who just have a desire to serve.  You'll partner with those who are trained and be an integral part of the project.  We are also looking for skilled labor--those who have gifts in carpentry, drywall, and painting.

All volunteers must be 18 or over but teenagers 16 and 17 may work too as long as their parent is present and working with them.   When you register, please let us know if you are unskilled labor or what your areas of expertise are if you are skilled labor.  It is important to note this project is outdoors in an unfinished home.  Water and sack lunch will be provided.

Date & Time
Saturday, May 4, 8:00am-4:00pm.  Car pools will leave from the church at 7:30am, or you can choose to meet the location in Olathe which is about 20 minutes from the church.

Corner of South Park and East Loula, Olathe, Kansas.

You must register to serve that day so we ensure we have an appropriate number of volunteers and plan work for all those present.  There are three ways to register:
  1. In person at the Connection Point at Monticello or at the church office
  2. By phone at (913) 441-1435
  3. By email.  Just send the names of those attending and their ages (if under 18) to our Connections Team Coordinator here
