Come BE THE CHANGE by sorting non-perishable food items for those  around the metro who are hungry.  This project is the culmination of a food drive that began with Monticello UMC folding 20,000 bags for the US Postal Service to deliver for the purpose of collecting food.
On Harvester's Family Service Day, we will sort the food in the Harvester's Warehouse to be delivered to those in need.  All volunteers must be 18 or over but children and teenagers may work too as long as their parent is present and working with them.

Date & Time
Saturday, April 27, 10:00am-12:00pm.  Car pools will leave from the church at 9:00am, or you can choose to meet at Harvesters which is about 40 minutes from the church.

Harvesters, 1811 N Topping, Kansas City, MO

You must register to serve that day so we ensure we have an appropriate number of volunteers and plan work for all those present.  There are three ways to register:
  1. In person at the Connection Point at Monticello or at the church office
  2. By phone at (913) 441-1435
  3. By email.  Just send the names of those attending and their ages (if under 18) to our Connections Team Coordinator here
