Monticello United Methodist is BEING THE CHANGE at Spofford House, a residential treatment center for children in Kansas City.  The "Be the Change" sermon series kicked off on Easter where you as a congregation donated an amazing $4,457 to impact the lives of children living at the Spofford House.  Thank you for your donations to BE THE CHANGE for children today!!
Now, we take it a step further as a church by serving to volunteer for painting, mentoring, light maintenance, and other projects at Spofford House.
Date & Time:
August 3, 2013, 9:00am-3:00pm
We will car pool from Monticello leaving at 8:20am.  Please arrive by 8:10am.
Wear and Bring:
Wear grubby painting clothes as well as a change of clothes to wear on the ride home as your paint clothes will be yucky!  Bring any painting supplies you have including brushes, rollers, tape, and drop cloths
Spofford Home, 9700 Grandview Rd., Kansas City, MO  63134, but car pools are available from the church.
If you would like to donate, just place a check in the offering plate or deliver/mail it to the church and mark it "Spofford House."
If you would like to work, you must register in one of these three ways:
