Become a Lay Servant Minister

Certified Lay Ministry
Do you feel God is calling you to consider ministry in some way, but you want to keep your existing job?  The Kansas City District of the United Methodist Church may have an opportunity for you to serve in Lay Servant Ministries.  As a Lay Servant, you will serve in ministry in a new and unique way.  You do not have to change churches, quit your job, or be employed by the church.  

Interested people should meet with Pastor Rob first.  Then, attend an introductory class called, "Leading, Caring, and Communicating.  Julie Schropp, the new director of lay servant ministries for the Conference, will be teaching.  You might remember Julie from her preaching here at Monticello.  See the flyer attached below for additional information.
